Yesterday I went for a drive from Navi Mumbai to Pali. On my
way there, when I was driving through Parli ( a small town) I got stuck in a
very heavy and long traffic jam. It was a very narrow patch of about 2 kilometres
and there was no traffic police in sight.
However, a group of about four to
five young men parked their car on the side of the road a little away, came out
of their vehicle and started directing the traffic. Thanks to these guys who
took charge of the traffic, the traffic was managed and what would have otherwise
taken hours to clear out took only 15 minutes because of these selfless
youngsters. This makes me feel very proud and gives me hope of these young, new
generation Indians. I wish I could take their picture, but since I was alone
and driving I would only hold up the traffic by doing so, therefore I could not
take a picture. But I would like to
thank these guys. Well done boys!!
